The internet is experiencing a number of security vulnerabilities in the last week. Let me first start off by saying if you use windows servers, this does not apply to you. The problem this week is surrounding Linux servers. So if you are Windows only with us then you can skip the rest of this email.

This week we’ve been hit with two linux kernel vulnerabilities and two additional cPanel/WHM vulnerabilities. It is critically important that you ensure that your server has gotten all the latest patches installed.

If you have our management and monitoring service package, then rest assured, we are on top of getting the updates installed for you as soon as they are released. Many of you, however, are managing your own servers and it’s really important for you to be sure that you are keeping your operating system and control panels updated.

If you re interested in our managed services, then please let me know. Also, because of the importance of this week’s vulnerabilities, we are offering a one time server update service for $100. We will log in and verify that your server has all the patches available at that time.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of zebrahost.com

I want to thank all of our customers many of whom have been with us for most of those years.

I also want to thank our employees, contractors and vendors, past and present, who have all made this milestone possible.

Looking forward we have launched our new customer portal which is located at https://clients.zebrahost.com where customers will be able to order, provision and manage their services.
They will be able to access the console as well as stop, start and restart their services. A number of additional services and datacenters will be added.

We are migrating our current customers over individually to make sure everything goes smoothly. This effort will take a while to complete.
The migration team will reach out to customers to co-ordinate the move.
In the interim we will be running both the current and the new portals.

Many Thanks again!

Hi All ZebraHost customers>

I just received an email from Giftogram with the address ron@arrowfloorcovering.com

The email contained the message "Zebrahost sent you a $100 Gift Card on Giftogram.

With a button "View your Gift"

I am not sure if it has been sent only to people who work for Zebrahost.

If you receive such an email sadly it is fake and probably a scam.

Please do not click on any link.

Please let us know if you do receive such an email so that we can take appropriate action.

Happy Holidays!

Clive
